Heart Birthstone Necklace

The setting

The heart-shaped stone sits in an open-backed stainless steel basket setting, plated in gold or white gold. Three claws hold it in place: one at each upper curve of the heart, and one protecting the point. The open sides let the light through and show off the stone's faceted profile, and a small fixed loop connects the pendant to the chain.

Size and fit

The heart pendant measures 9mm tall, 7mm wide and 5mm deep: small enough to wear every day, big enough to catch the light. Three lengths, 14, 16 and 18 inches, each with a 2 inch extender, and a choice of three chain styles.
